Whether in person or online, visual notes draw people in, keep them engaged, help them remember, inspire them to think and spur them to act with confidence and creativity.
Online works with most budgets
I have found another key difference between the two is cost. Visual notes created online generally work with most budgets, while those created in-person generally do not work with small budgets.
Online works for early mornings
In addition, when visual notes are created online, it is far easier to accommodate a variety of time zones. Logging on to a meeting at 5AM is drastically different than arriving on-site at 4AM to get set up and ready to go at 5AM. Plus I actually like to get an early start!
Online works very last minute
It takes time to get things ready for in-person work. If drawing on foam core, it may not be possible to find the boards and get them delivered in time for your meeting or event. With online work, that’s never a problem. Just send me a log-in link and I’m good to go.
