One handwritten word in a sea of type can make your message more warm and inviting. Use this PNG image to quickly add a little visual interest to your message and grab people’s attention. Black letters with a transparent background. This 300 DPI image is printable up to 9.5” wide.

Hands can be hard to draw sometimes. Handshakes can be even harder. Mainly because you can't shake hands with yourself to see what a handshake really looks like! When doing live graphic recording, there's no time for that anyways. You just have to draw!

Here are nine different ways I tend to draw handshakes when graphic recording. I've found it really helps to have a number of different ways to draw something - some super simple, some more complex. That way, if you only have a few seconds to draw something, you've already found a way that works.

It's also good to do experiments like this behind closed doors, instead of waiting until you're standing in front of a big bunch of people or on stage!

You may notice no “heart hands” here. I tend not to draw those unless asked. Maybe I will “heart hands” in a separate download, if anyone is interested.

It can be helpful to take notes during a meeting, but only if you can make sense of your notes later on! This free download and printable template can help you structure both your notes AND your meeting time more productively.

Designed for re-occuring one-on-one phone/video meetings but can be used for pretty much any meeting type or size. For maximum impact, have all participants use the template and pause periodically to give folks time to write things down.

Can also be used as a pre-meeting prep sheet or post-meeting reflection sheet.

Print out this mini pumpkin patch and practice drawing some faces on them. This can be a quick and simple warm up before creative work or a way to refresh your thinking when you get stuck. You can also trace over the pumpkins if you want to learn how to draw them. A PNG file with transparent background so you can cut and paste individual pumpkins to meet your needs. For all ages.

There are a few ways to use this free practice sheet:

1. Print it out and draw over the letters with a dark markers. This is a great way to get used to forming letters that are more uniform with more even spacing between then.

2. After you have made the letters darker, place this sheet under a blank sheet of paper. You should be able to see the alphabet though the blank sheet. Use the letters you see through the paper as a guide to practice writing on a blank sheet of paper.

3. Use this simple alphabet as a starting point to practice and experiment with more creative and complex ways of making your letters, such as block or bubble letters.
