DoodleBlocks

Creative blocks? Mental blocks? Stumbling blocks? Break through them much faster with DoodleBlocks! Just 2 minute a day is all it takes. No drawing skills required! And it's FREE :)

How to use DoodleBlocks to boost creativity & visual thinking skills, increase focus, and reduce stress in 2 minute blocks!

How to use DoodleBlocks

  • Print out the DoodleBlocks sheet. There are 30 blocks, and four of them have already been doodled in.
  • Choose a block next to a block that's already been doodled in.
  • Doodle in your chosen block, doing these 4 simple things in each block:

1. Use only simple lines and shapes. No fancy drawing!

2. At least one line from every block must touch an edge. Extend every line that touches the edge of all pre-doodled boxes into your current DoodleBlock. (See image below.) But only draw in one block at a time.

3. Draw those lines with confidence! No drawing in pencil first or erasing! Use whatever ends up in your DoodleBlock.

4. No more than 2 minutes spent per block. With only 2 minutes, there's no time to focus on anything other than your DoodleBlock!

Do it daily!

Doodle in one empty DoodleBlock 6 days a week and color one of the pre-doodled blocks 1 day a week. Use whatever you like to draw and color with (markers, crayons, colored pencils, etc.) as long as there's no erasing or covering up what you've put in a DoodleBlock.

It's like improv — go with whatever happens!

A new DoodleBlock sheet will be added each month, so come back!

Why Bother?

Sometimes, the most creative ideas happen when you think inside the box instead of pushing yourself outside of it. But while you're busy thinking inside the box, it's essential to keep the big picture in mind.

DoodleBlocks make that easy. And when done daily, DoodleBlocks train your brain to more effectively think inside the box while keeping the big picture in mind.

You'll become a faster, more fluid and flexible creative thinker with all types of challenges, not just when doodling!
